Scarlet / Epic without EVF and Touchscreen

I have a doubt about LCD and EVF... it´s necessary this items to work perfectly the camera?
If you have a sidehandle DSMC or REDMOTE, Can you change the settings normally ?
Any monitor with HDMI works with Epic / Scarlet ?

I believe that if you're using a DSMC Side Handle, REDMOTE and monitoring over HDMI, then RED's LCD or EVF is not necessary.

Brian is correct, you can change all the settings on the camera with either the DSMC side handle or the REDMOTE while monitoring over HDMI.
