  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

SCARLET-EPIC DRAGON upgrade and warranty and unused RED ARMOR...

Hello!
I am planning on upgrading my SCARLET to EPIC while the option is available. The original warranty on my SCARLET is up 6/19. If I take delivery of the upgraded EPIC by then, what happens to the RED ARMOR I purchased for the SCARLET? Am I out $1500? Can I apply the existing unused ARMOR to the EPIC and pay the $1350 difference? I understand that RED ARMOR is non-tranferrable but if it was never activated, wouldn't that be a special case and hopefully an exception can be made? I'm going to call my BS rep tomorrow, I just wanted to get an idea of how this may go down.

Update: The BS rep I spoke to today said ARMOR is transferable to the upgraded EPIC, and wouldn't cost anything additional.
 
That's lucky. When I upgraded my scarlet mx to epic mx they did not carry over the red armor. It had two and a half years to go on it. In fact I still might be covered by it had it transferred.
