Scarlet - Dragon upgrade

[Bob Gundu]

I do believe RED will allow you to transfer ownership without sending it in for evaluation. Just send them an email at transfers@red.com

hah yikes, that's paying $500 to tell someone you own a camera... But it's the only way to receive updates and upgrades yea?

Does anyone know for how long the Scarlet X - EPIC X upgrade path will still be available?
I don't want to miss the boat so I'd rather finance the upgrade than waiting to buy it outright and then when I have the cash the upgrade is no longer available...

The timeline has never been officially announced. But I'm sure when they will make it public, you will have enough time to make a decision.

Thanks Bob,

I hope so! The promised upgrade path was the only reason I opted to buy a Scarlet.

cheers

Can a brothah get some love about the Scarlet to Dragon upgrade? A rough guestimate of when from someone who really knows would be fine, even a “no Dragon before (insert date here)” would be helpful.

quick question guys do I have to wait a year to upgrade to a scarlet dragon from a scarlet?

No idea. NAB this year will shed some light onto that.
