I'm checking the Scarlet Dragon specs and I see:

ACQUISITION FORMATS:
5K RAW (Full Frame, 2:1, 2.4:1 and Anamorphic 2:1) 4.5K RAW (2.4:1)
4K RAW (16:9, HD, 2:1 and Anamorphic 2:1)
3K RAW (16:9, 2:1 and Anamorphic 2:1)
2K RAW (16:9, 2:1 and Anamorphic 2:1)
and
REDCODE™ 12 and 16-bit RAW :
1-48 fps 5K FF at 5:1 compression
Max fps (2.4:1):
1-60 fps 5K
1-75 fps 4K
1-100 fps 3K
1-150 fps 2K

I don't really understand. There is no 2.4 format in 4k, 3k and 2k, and these slowmos are for 2.4.

I could be very wrong, but I believe it's referring to 5K 2.4:1 (or likely 2.37:1) that provides 60 fps and the rest of the stated FPS are for "full" formats. That's what I gathered from NAB at least.

Additionally, do not panic that there is currently no 2.4:1 (WS) for certain resolutions. It sounds like the resolution and format options will be changing in Dragon's firmware to allow you to customize things a bit.

Thanx Phil.
I panic for the framerates :)
I hope it's a clumsy writing. Or it would mean the full formats framerates are slower than that at 4k, 3k and 2k.

Heh. We'll know soon enough. The important stuff to me is that you're getting 48fps at 5K Full and somewhere around or faster than 60fps 4K Full.

I wish we could hear about 1k over cranking options on Scarlet Dragon... I really like 1kws sometimes...

48fps... Why mess with pal users so much!
