New price: $5000!

This is an amazing camera system, but changing circumstances mean it needs a new home. Everything works. Everything is in excellent condition! Hours: 515

This is the very camera used to shoot every single shot of our two most recent feature films ("The Tree" and "The Land"; both are available on Amazon). Critics praised the cinematography on both films as "simply amazing" and "pristine." If you're looking to make cinema-quality images, this camera will allow absolutely allow you to do it!

Here's what's included:

RED Scarlet Dragon body with 515 total runtime hours
RED side SSD module
RED side handle (fully functional)
Two (2) RED 1.8" SSD cards (256GB and 128GB)
RED 1.8" SSD card reader and USB cable
Two (2) RED V-mount 153 watt hour bricks (both hold 100% charge)
RED dual V-mount brick charger and cord
Original RED AC power cable (for studio use; I don't think we ever used it even once)
RED aluminum Canon electronic lens mount and RED body cap
RED top handle
RED 5 inch touch monitor, cable, and articulating support arm (no dead pixels or scratches)
Wooden Camera V-mount battery plate with two D-tap ports
Cinema Oxide Carbonite Scope loupe viewfinder (an absolutely incredible piece of kit that allows you to use the RED touch monitor as a viewfinder or a touch monitor; makes viewing in bright light a breeze)
RED Standard OLPF (installed; this is what we used for every shot in both films)
RED Low-Light OLPF (wish we'd taken the time to use it, but we were rushed in our night scenes)
Optitek Optitron 2 wireless follow-focus system (a $2800 system that allows pulling sharp, latency-free focus, setting iris, and camera start-stop operations wirelessly; this is our favorite piece of gear!)
Redrock Micro mattebox for 15mm rails (includes several donuts)
Wooden Camera top and bottom plates
Wooden Camera side handle (allows for easy hand-held use)
Wooden Camera 15mm rails attachment and carbon fiber rails
Scratch microphone (I've forgotten the brand, but it works)
SDI cable
Nyrius 1080p wireless transmitter and receiver system (allows you to monitor remotely on a television; this one works very well)
XLR audio cable to 3.5mm jack for using external microphone
D-tap to RED Lemo power connector (allows you to power the camera using a 14.8V battery with D-tap port; very helpful for gimbal use)
Original side and back plates
Timecode cables (including one for a Tentacle Sync E)
Miscellaneous screws and bolts
Pelican 1560 flight case (which holds everything in the kit!)

If I knew how to post pictures here on REDUser, I'd do it, but feel free to email (never2latestudios@yahoo.com) for pictures and/or with any specific questions.

This is a remarkable camera system, and I'm going to dearly miss it.

This is an incredible bargain at $5000! (Shipping will vary depending on location.)

Price dropped to $5000! Below this, and I'll part it out and make more money!
