Scarlet Cinematography Reel

Just completed my Cinematography Reel, well, it is complete for now, at least. Shot on Scarlet, with Leica R lenses, primarily the 28-90 ASPH, a couple of shots with the Summicron 35mm f2, one with the 21-35 ASPH, and one with the 100mm APO. Graded in Resolve.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Obviously Vimeo's compression has created some artifacting, especially in the first cloud timelapse shot...

Nice work, I like the way you work with the locations and scenics in particular.

You got some great shots in there and my one criticism would be the music. The music is too contrived and forceful and it's taking away from the visuals. No need to sound so epic. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

Bob - I hear you on the music. It took me forever, really, like months to find anything even remotely suitable, everything else was too cheesy, so this is what I decided on. Maybe it is too much... Perhaps my quest for music shall begin again. I got so sick of listening to cheesy crap though, and I thought this had more of an edge to it.

I agree with Bob. The music overshadows your work.

I like what I see though. You really do have some great shots.
