  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet Camera Name List

Scarlet #1164 arrived Friday, Feb 10 and is now known as Robeye. Robeye functioning as expected. Flawless.

...and so I can say "Hi-yo, Silver!" instead of "Roll Camera" :)

What SN? And I think I recall you being a Titanium man? Must mean I'm close!! I ordered Nov 15th...

I'll be naming mine (SO-54151) "Quade" From Total Recall and the name of my old pet Scorpion which I ended up setting free after I had this crazy dream that he wanted to escape. Needless to say I built him a mad environment (more like miniature ecosystem) to flourish in. I love this name :)
 
The serial number wasn't in the email. Hmm... Now I'm confused... Isn't the allocation email the one that says...

Is that a Scarlet allocation email or is it like a pre-allocation email?

By the way, it is indeed a Ti Canon Mount one. I ordered on November 3rd at around 7:30 PM.

Looks like you're due for your camera in around 2 weeks or sooner to me!

You're going to be so stoked when it comes in, the only wait you will care about is waiting for the sun to rise so you can go shoot again ;)
For now be glad to know you have a Ti Canon mount on the way. I gambled that the Al mount would come in sooner, so I went with that option.
Here you are getting your Ti mount in roughly the same timeframe. I'm really impressed with the design of the Canon mount from RED, and
right now I am really wishing I had gone for the Ti. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, right?
