Hi, I am selling a Scarlet Brain-Only (with AC Adapter, original box & front body cap).

$5,600 (free shipping & no PayPal fee required)

I have done business with many users here on RedUser if you need references, and have a 100% eBay score since 2006;

323 hours logged on the sensor. The sensor is in perfect condition (see pic).

***a single 1/4" thread on top is stripped, I provided a photo to Red Support & they estimated $350 to fix. I'm including a x Easy Stick which covers the stripped thread***
Edit: it's actually just missing the helicoil which apparently is a much cheaper fix - thanks Steve Gal for the info

Price does not include transfer of ownership fees which allows you to download firmware from Red ($500 for transfer, plus shipping if you want them to inspect the camera).

Pictures also show Side SSD and Nikon Mount but these are not included (ask about package).

$ 350 really? It looks like the helicoil just fell out. replacing a helicoil is not that expensive unless the threads for the helicoil are stripped.

The helicoil came out on an articulating arm and was jammed on it, so a new one needs to be added. Red estimated $350 (that was based off my photos...they didn't see the camera itself). I thought it seemed extremely high for such an easy replacement.

Thanks for the info Steve.

Price dropped to $5,800 for brain. According to Steve and some others, the thread on top is simply missing a helicoil...much cheaper to fix if you DIY or don't go through Red (if you even decide to bother with it. I'm still including the easy stick to cover / protect the threads).
