So I've been playing with my new scarlet, and noticed a blue shift on the right side of the frame. It's quite noticeable at 1280ISO and above, and I'll attach an r3d in a bit to show this.
Now I'm very much aware of the need to black shade, as well as the common "light leak" -ish situation on some Epics. Im seeing the problem all the time though- factory black shade (at all sensor temperatures), custom black shade (performed with the sensor both cold and warm) and so forth. What's strange here is that when the lens cap is on and the ISO is cranked, I get a uniformly noisy image. This makes me believe the black shade is doing its job. But when I pull the cap and shoot midtones at higher ISOs, the midtones on the right side of the frame become bluish.
What am I doing wrong?
