It's hard to understand why they would put phantom power on the RED as there will be phantom power on the Production Mixer's mixer. Let him or her worry about phantom power, etc.

Well if you are using a production mixer, for sure. What about when you are not?

Phantom power is selectable on / off per input, so will work either way...

If you're using a Scarlet for your production odds are you don't have one... Right?

I think that's why Scarlets got this so needed upgrade.
