I've been around the forums and didn't see a related thread, maybe because it's that dumb of a question. But I have a M2 Encore Lens adapter kit for my DVX100 and I was wondering if I'd be able to use this on the Scarlet 2/3 Interchangeable and use my 35mm lenses. Any help would be appreciated.

It's been discussed before. The biggest problem that you're probably going to come up against is the fact that you'd probably start to see the grain in the ground glass.

But I really don't see any point in this personally... You'll only gain something like two stops shallower depth of field, which doesn't make any sense to me personally given the potential image quality problems. I mean, should be able to get a fair more amount of bokeh on 2/3" sensor like Scarlet than a 1/3" DVX sensor or a 1/2" EX1/EX3, and if you really want full 35mm, you'd get better results (and higher resolution) from a Scarlet s35.

Yeah I wasn't aware of the image grain. I was just wanting to use lenses I already had available and read that there would be a lot of cropping involved if I used them on the 2/3 sensor. I guess I just have to choose between all new lenses or jumping up in model and price.
