Scarlet and Dragon...

Of course it makes sense that we will upgrade EPICs to the Dragon sensor before Scarlets. However, we are considering how to upgrade Scarlets to the Dragon.

There are several boards that need to be changed so the upgrade for Scarlet may be a bit more expensive than the upgrade to EPIC..

We are always thinking about our customers... just so you know.

Can you deny or confirm the ability for Dragon to give Scarlet 24fps at 5k?

Feeling like even with Dragon, Scarlet shouldn't have 24fps at 5k which is one of the important specs that sets Epic away from Scarlet.

Bear in mind as well the new price of Epic. When the extra cost of the Scarlet upgrade is taken into consideration it might just make more sense to go Epic anyway.

100fps at 6k on a dragon epic and you think that scarlet owners shouldn't get 24p at 5k?

even at 6k the upgrade is almost the price of a scarlet brain, that would be a huge amount to pay just for added DR when the epics getting so much more added for the same price, and scarlet users won't be, they be paying more.

Any idea when vague scarlet dragon performance details are due?

My very probably wrong guess is 6k with current 5k frame rates, 5k with 4k frame rates etc.

Pnow I need to go find somewhere to squeeze one of those lovely REDray players into a budget...
