scarlet and color correction question!

[Ershov Kirill]

Hi guys) actually i don't have an opportunity to install davinci resolve on my mac pro cause of 64bit system.. my mac is quite old one and i am waiting for the new this summer. it's quite fast but only 32...

can anybody suggest me a good noise reduction and sharpening plug in or software for FCP7 or FCPX

and also wanted to ask about FilmConvert plug in) has anybody tried it? is there real difference between filmconvert stand-alone version and just a plug in) in the support list of cameras i t says only red one and red epic from the list of cameras so its ok for scarlet?

thnx

Hey Ershov,

The the EPIC models on Scarlet footage, it should look the same. We're going to reword the dropdown so that this is more obvious.

As for the difference between the stand alone and plugins, the film stock settings are the same, but the stand alone also has a 3 way color corrector and levels. We're actually going to add these to the plugins due to popular demand, but it involves some work so will be a few months away.

Both plugin and standalone can be downloaded on a trial basis.
