Hey everyone,

Scarlet #2368 "Yojimbo" has landed in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm curious to find out how many of them are around here?



I've been following reduser for years but this is my first post. As a new owner of a scarlet I finally feel that I have something to share and soon enough some footage to present.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

I was thinking of Kurosawa for sure! I'm half Japanese and I love all his films so it came natural to me.

To narrow it down a little more, I named my cam after one of his films and a movie with Toshiro Mifune in it.
 
Great name, great movie. Glad you were thinking of the movie and not the Manga. Mifune gets evil to destroy evil, leaving innocents to pick up the pieces. One of my favorites, but in my old age I'm liking "Ikiru" more. I'm in the Bay, though I can't justify purchase of a Scarlet. But if one of my main clients - the National Japanese American Historical Society - ever has a project that merits use of one I may be in touch.
 
I'm in Santa Cruz and have a Scarlet.

My Scarlet-X is scheduled to arrive via FedEx tomorrow. I'm based out of Berkeley, spend most of my week in SF, and frequent LA as needed.
