scarlet 2/3 lens choices

OK, in the epic/scarlet info release it says:

Leverage your investment in optics. sensor modules support PL. RED, canon and nikon mounts which may be interchanged as required to suit a specific lens or application.


but when it shows each brain the scarlet 2/3 has mini-red, B4 and c-mount, but no nikon mount...

i want to believe that is wrong and i can leverage my nikon investment without having to spend the extra money on the S35

Your Nikon glass will be telephoto because of the 2/3" sensor, that's why its not an option; its not really compatible with the sensor size. There are however C-mount to Nikon adaptors, just be aware about the telephoto issue before buying.

thanks, i figured there'd be a cropping issue, didn't realize it would be 3.9x though...I only wanted the 2/3 for slo mo anyways...

hmmm...

my future is now either more complicated or more expensive...either way, it'll look better....
