SCAM WARNING FOR RED MX BODY

[Jonathan Pears]

Hey Everyone

We got emailed from this address - Alex Pozniy <wernita2007@yahoo.com> - asking if we were interested in a Red MX with Side SSD and 2x64GB SSD's.

His images are taken from a ebay auction and are not his, its a legit scam.

If you are approached by someone offering this, just ask them what their reduser name is and that normally reveals their true colors.

Thanks all....

[Will Rodgers]

i was also offered a package from Alex Pozniy.
he had offered me a full Epic X package and for an amazing price.
very glad you posted this when you did, i was about to pull the trigger on the deal with him.

[Jonathan Pears]

Take note of this people....

Remember the name and just stop and think before pulling the trigger....

Anyone buying a used RED can pretty much avoid scams by doing the following…

- Get the serial number of the camera in question and verify ownership with RED.
- Insist that the camera be received at RED for ownership transfer before any funds change hands.

In my opinion, any seller not willing to do either of these things is not someone I'd want to do business with.

It's not the first time he has done this. He had some SSD's and some Lomo's for sale on here. All his images are lifted from google, he is a scammer. He has been called on it. Well flagged Jonathan. Avoid at all costs people!!
