Btw, how the hell does a guy, who's not even a Reduser member, get his hands on Scarlet-W #00000092 - and then sell it? Oh, and he has a Raven for sale... and an Epic Dragon... And he's from New York and Montana and he has several phone numbers from different states - Oregon, New York, Florida...

How did you send it the first time, and then get a refund? How did that go down?
 
Yeah forsure a scam. Even on reduser i make sure to look at the user's post history, and even then you have to really look into it. Some of these people go to great lengths to get what they want. Probably camping the forums for months.

Yes hes a fucking scam artist. lol basically he just said " you americans are stoopid thanks for the money lol" I basically told him i found out he was a ghetto rapper. Paypal is on his ass now lol PS they have my money already on hold. He tried saying that I bought a digital intangeble object and its not covered under paypal lol fucking guy. Hey well there it goes anyone can get scammed thank god I am not stupid enough to send money without an invoice and as friends and family. Spred the word moron on the loose and he knows his shit about red cameras.

I would like to add my voice to those that have been scammed by this individual, although in my case he was using the name "Ryan tidrick". However, the company was in Oregon, western broadcast, I believe. He contacted me because I had posted a "WTB". Please stay away from anyone not going through the RED site. Anyway, be safe.
 
He got me too on a +1 Adapter module and Quick plate. He had me send the money to "onefocusmedia@outlook.com" refunded it, then asked for me to send it to his 'co-worker' "rhiwilliamson@hotmail.com" who turned out to be an innocent kid in the UK once I reached out to him, the money indeed went into his account and then out right away under "Devan Troutman". Craig Kuna used this account to launder the money. So I think when I sent it to onefocusmedia they realized it wasn't for them and refunded it before Craig could hack onto their account. Luckily I knew to not send the money as friends and family like he was requesting...
 
Wow I was just about to pay him for a Canon Motion Mount via Paypal! He sent me a strangely assembled list of references, which got my guard up. I never followed through. Thank you so much to everyone for sharing. Phew

It's not that "Americans are dumb"... Some people are just good people... this guy is not.

I hope this thread saves a few people from losing money to this sociopath.
 
Lol this guys a dipshit and I hope he gets run over by a bus I reported him to the FBI scamming piece of shit. Sad part is it probably worked if u send as friends and family your screwed!
 
Figured him out from his 1st mail to me.
He was trying to sell me a Schneider Xenon ff 75mm.
 
Unfortunately i have been scammed by this person under the name of "Ryan Tidrick" sales@westbroadcasthd.com also. They have website working and Facebook page. Exif data of the photos that i've received was changed so i din't understand it's someone else photos.
Please be aware and stay away.

It seems as this guy asks for other users to send him images with timestamps, then he sends those to his potential buyers.
 
If you go to westbroadcasthd.com, and go to the contact page, it says that they are in Wilsonville, OR, but their phone number is not from that (503) area code... Total sham.
