I tried searching the forum and skimmed through the manual, but couldn't find instructions on how to save all of my custom key maps before I upgrade firmware. This is possible, correct? Any directions or pointing me to the right resource would be appreciated. Thanks.

First, create a preset with your key mappings:
1. Go to the preset dialog
2. Press the "Create..." Button
3. Give the preset a name
4. Select the "KEY" tab
5. Press the "All ->" button to put all the key mappings in the preset
6. Press the "Create" Button

Second, export the preset to SSD
1. Go to the preset dialog
2. Select your newly created preset from the "Camera" list on the left
3. Press the "->" button to export it to the SSD
4. Verify that the preset is now listed in the "S-SSD\presets" list on the right
5. Copy preset file off of SSD onto your computer for safe keeping.

Once you have upgraded you can restore your key mappings by:
1. Copy the preset file onto your SSD (into a 'presets' directory)
2. Go to the preset dialog
3. Select the preset from the "S-SSD\presets" list on the right
4. Press the "<-" button to import from the SSD
5. You will be asked if you want to apply, chose yes. (you can always apply it later).

Great. You are awesome. Is this info living somewhere? I feel stupid not being able to find it.

The Scarlet Operation Guide (for version 4.0.12) discusses the Preset Menu on pages 94 - 99. You may need to piece some things together but I believe there is enough info there to recreate the steps I laid out.

Ahhh. I have an older version of the manual. sorry. thanks again. Your steps were really helpful. Doing it now. Take care.
