here are some - fast graded - shots (compressed, iam on a slow connection on tour)... set fotos later ...

[Jan Reiff]

some more, hope not too bad in quality right now, ...

[Craig Ryan]

Beautiful imagery. I agree with someone else who used nostalgic to describe them; there's a very organic quality to all of them that is remarkable.

Excellent composing, lighting, and grading! Very nice work. Did you use any smoke or fog in the scene near the windows?

[Jan Reiff]

yes, a light hazer is in the rooms, in the old kitchen is almost complete real smoke, you cant imagine how smoky such old kitchen were before 1900 by this fireplaces ...

[Jan Reiff]

this kitchen image is great in 4K ... it looks like an old painting, and you have everywhere enough room in the highlights and dark areas to make a great final grading.

Do you mind if I paint that scene with oil on canvas? It really does look like a painting, I think it would make for a wonderful piece.

[Jan Reiff]

a pleasure!
i can give you a bigger image size next time if you need

[Jan Reiff]

she is cookin´ potatoes ... you can see it better in the original 4K image :w00t:

[Jean-Charles Wolfarth]

[Jan Reiff]

on the set

[Jan Reiff]

today very in the morning we shoot some nature / landscape stuff for this film, the black forest at 5 am ...
i "only" had my t3 red 18-50 with me, so this is rough outputs from redcine / macbook pro, i hope will be fine later with final grading to have enough room for perfect exposure.
but in this rough outputs i already like the colors ...
the lake looks much nicer in moving frame because of some moving fog over the water ...

[Jan Reiff]

a 9 am shot with trees and a great 2K 120 f/s shot with hands in water.

[Jan Reiff]

and a new product i used first time, very good swap module to never power down camera again
(from www.theredline.tv)

[JoshBertrand]

The lighting is truly beautiful. This looks like it would be fun to grade.

[Jan Reiff]
