  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Samsung Electronics Begins Mass Production of Industry’s Largest Capacity SSD – 30.72

Thanks for the Info. Joel! All of my Harddrives in my laptop Are Samsung SSDs. I would love to add a much higher capacity M.2 based NMVE drive or just an ACHI based 2.5 version to it.

My drives

Drive: SSD, Samsung SSD 850 EVO M.2 500GB, 465.76 GB
Drive: SSD, NVMe Samsung SSD 960, 476.94 GB

That seems really interesting. Seems they (Samsung) have addressed some of the more volatile aspects associated with more traditional SSD's ...

BUT I wonder how archival this new Large Capacity SSD will be ? I.e. how many years can you leave it on shelf unpowered before it self corrupts?
