Hi all!
Here is a 1:30 shot of cherry blossoms (Sakura) showing the great depth of field manipulation possible with the Red 18-50mm CF lens:
Sakura_H264_1080p (139MB MOV, link courtesy of RedRelay.net)
It is just a single shot set to music and the clip starts with a black frame so don't panic when you only hear the music at the beginning!
Technical details: Shot at 23.976fps using a 1/96th shutter at T4 with ND0.9 using the Red 18-50mm lens (at 50mm). Original is RedCode36 @ 4K 2:1 ratio, exported with a light grade from RedCine as Quicktime Motion JPEG B at 1080p. Build 15 2.1.7 was used. No further colouring was done in editing (Premiere Pro CS3).
Here's a 1K screen grab from the shot:
Enjoy, feedback is of course welcome (good or bad)!
Cheers,
Paul
