Sachtler 18 S1 or Ocon 1030ds?

getting one or the other. anyone used both these lately and have any thoughts?

Get the O'Connor, easier to rent out to people. Any of the 1030 series heads is great for the epic and scarlet, and the 1030ds is the best head in the 1030 series. A good combo is a O'Connor head and Sachtler sticks.

1030 D is awesome... perfect for Epic... just get a brdgeplate and long dovetail so you can balance, or get the "european " quick release plate which is larger than the standard and will allow more movement for balancing.. got mine with the ocon sticks and have been very happy

Sachtler, so easily compatible, so well-built. better range of motion than oconnor
Lot of people say Oconnor is better for rentals, that may be, but im not a rental house so i can only go on "actual usage" and the sachtler is amazing.
