  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

S35 Frame Sizes

I thought this but on reflection it is a bit different (hoping my facts are correct):

1) Dalsa recorded out to 30mm.. Red is only likely go to 27.?mm.. This will be possible with many more lenses. Especially if you want a 16:9 frame where most modern glass capable of s35 will hopefully work.

2) Dalsa had little (or no) flexibility in recording frame size. Epic is said to have a lot of flexibility in frame size. Crop you sensor to your lens! Seems a good idea?

I've been slightly wishing the red could shoot with a S35 frame (rather than the slightly smaller than academy 20.4x12.2mm). With Epic this wish come true...
