  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

S O L O // Red Raven and Sigma Cine Lenses

Very, very cool. Well shot, edited, directed etc. Nice LUT, although it could have been taken down a little. But really there's nothing to complain about. Solid.

Seems that RED has rolling shutter under control. There was a ceiling fan in Twin Peaks Season 3 that did not look too good, IIRC. Needless to say it wasn't shot with RED cameras.

Thanks man! I really appreciate you taking the time to check out the video!

Nice work... Would love to get your feelings about the Sigmas both creatively and mechanically

Hey!

Sorry for the delay in response! I really enjoyed working with the Sigmas. They do tend to cast a slight green tint on the image, but that's relatively easy to fix in post. If you have any other questions feel free to hit me up on Instagram, I'm on there more often than here! (https://www.instagram.com/averyrost_ )

Nice work! I own sigmas and I haven't liked them over my canon lenses (stills), but you have made them look really great.

Thanks man!

We definitely got lucky on this shoot with the weather and light that the clouds were giving us. I think that definitely helped to compliment the Sigma's.

Nice short! Beautiful look, great editing. Well done.

My only (super tiny) criticism is the font you used for the titles and credits needs to be anti-aliased a bit. The edges are too jagged. I don't know if that's a result of the downscaling to 1080p or if it's like that in the original, but it's probably easy to fix.

That said, really nice work.
