Russian Language Operational Guide

[Tanner Stauss]

Are there any camera manual/operation guides in other languages yet? I am looking for a Russian version. Maybe an un-official version translated personally by somebody? If none exist now, will this be a future addition to the RED.com/support page?

Thanks

I am working for a company that comprises of about 50-50 Kazakh and Russian crew members, but the primary language is Russian. Even if I took the English Ops Guide to a document translator here, they probably wouldn't understand half of the technical lingo. I am their DIT right now and they just bought two RED packages. So they are ok while I am here, but as soon as I go back to the States, having the guide in their language would be a huge asset to them.

Best training is going to be hands on training with a translator standing on site. The possibilities for confusion and missed comprehension with a translated manual are legion.

I made a french translation. But that wont help you. I took me a lot of time cause of the abundance of technical terms.

If someone could post the manual online as a web page, you could go here:
http://translate.google.com/translate_t?hl=en#
paste the url. might work.

Google translate will not work , because Russian language is very
difficult , 1 word can be explained Russian in 10 words , and in is
main problem for any software translators .

Better to try translate.ru .
