Hello all,

I'm benchmarking/torture testing out Intel's Skulltrail system (the dual quad-core system). I would like to throw some Red footage at it to put it through its paces. I'm wondering if there's a way to get 10-30 seconds worth of RAW Red footage to play with? I'm based in Los Angeles.

Footage can be of anything and I'll credit you in the article.

Has anyone else played around with Skulltrail for video editing?

Thanks,

Oh specs of the machine are
2 X Q9775 Intel quad-cores running at 4.0 GHz aircooled
4 GB 667 MHz FB-DIMM RAM.. soon to be 800 MHz modules
2 Raptors
cheapo HD3450 from Sapphire - We aren't doing any graphics benches and it runs World of Warcraft just fine :)

Check with Silverado Systems in Sacramento, http://silverado.cc/

They have given out a 4-DVD set of R3D files from a test shoot to a bunch of Red Users. That is probably somewhere around 30 GB of data (dual-layer DVDs), which at 28 MB/sec ends up being around 18 minutes runtime.

I got a set myself (although disc one was unreadable, discs 2-4 totalled 21 GB of raw R3D files).
