  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Rugby World Cup 2011

Yeah, we stepped up tonight , no doubt about that, now I've gotta spend a week thinkin' about the french ....... what a nightmare.

Ha ha I don't think you have to worry Brent.
The final key will be in the first line's hands; the scrum and the impact phases I guess.
I can't wait for that oportunity given for a revenge. ;-)

Well, I am now cherring for the AB's to win since both Canada got straight murdered and Ireland got ousted.

Based on How NZ is playing though, France is screwed, horribly horribly screwed....

The Blacks dominated in all areas and outclassed the Wannabie, I mean Wallabies. However with all this glory and media attention dedicated to the Blacks, everyone forgot to pay tribute to the Wallabies for their defensive efforts when we're talking points over the line. The guarded their line furiously and only let the ABs over it once, even as an AB fan I thought it was dissapointing this was over looked, hats of to the losing team.

French... revenge??? Haha no chance, you're luck to have made it this far some how????? No seriously, good on the French for being a surprise Finalist, I hope they entertain us more than the Wallabies didn't. I doubt the French have what it takes to beat the Blacks, but on the flip side, the ABs have been known to have their luck change in the blink of the eye for a number of reasons, rwc history has shown us the All Blacks have a black cloud over them when it comes to semi's and finals...

At the end of day, the best team will win and if it's the French, than I will equally be happy to salute a team that beats the worlds best :)

And by the way, maybe the All Blacks are the best team in the world like everybody seems to declare.
In 2011 they didn't made it at the tri nation so.

Thats a funny assomption, if New zeland loose they are unlucky, and if they win they deserve it.

The French .........

what can you say about them ....... they're an enigma .......we wouldn't exist without them .... no Lumiere Brothers = no film making = no Reduser .
Sometimes they're genius brilliant ( Angenieux , Godard , Cocteau , Renoir ) ...... next they're the pits ..... Tonga!!! for heavens sake ..... it's crazy


At this very moment Nicolas Sarkozy is pacing around the chateau like Napoleon thinking about bailing out Greece & the "occupy Wall Street " movement , at the same time I'm pacing around my lounge thinking about the French rugby team.

I know Paolo & Brice are secretly hoping for a miracle ..... for the French to pull another rabbit out of the hat ..... I hate to be the one to tell you Dudes .. mon Ami .. but ...... IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN BABY ....

This is my first installment of " rambling rant " thinking about the French this week , the buildup to Sunday

Lets forget about the frenchies for a minute.
A good game in every single sport can be as powerfull as a good movie in term of emotions and script.
I usually enjoy more the movie who surprise me by it's unexpected ended,
than the one who finished with no surprises.
Unexpected victories made the history of sport, not the obvious.
David against Goliatt is one of those famous stories.
So sunday I will support the outsider as I always did, French or not French involved.
I hope I was in New Zeland to share few after match beers with some Kiwi folks (the good old third time period as we call it in France).
It's actually the beauty of Rugby, at the contrary of soccer,
their is a total respect beetween the supporters.
The best school of life as a team sport.
I hope it will continue that way.

I know what you mean by a movie with a surprise . At 1/2 time NZ vs Pumas I said "part of me would love to see Argentina win"

I just like writing about the French, can't help it, they make me laugh ... but there's 100% respect there , for sure.

Yes.... it's like NZ's been in some kind've 24 year nightmare .... caused mostly by France.

But we've had councelling, we've had therapy and we're over it , it's amazing what psychiatrists can do these days.

Paolo .... you just won't let me forget will you?

...uhhhh......I,m not sleeping very well so far this week

The French ......

What have they given us? ......... The Statue of Liberty , Champagne ( the English claim the English) , the Foreign Legion , Alain Resnais.

Lievremont (sporting a Freddy Mercury moustache) has slammed his players as "spoilt Brats " for going out boozing after the Wales ....uh .... " victory ".

See it's the mind games they play that worries me. They lull you into a false sense of security ..... then bammm ... they've gotcha.

Think I'll go lie down on the couch & put an ice pack on my head . Lord it's only tuesday.
