GO CANADA!!!!!!

Anyway, yeah, Rugby World Cup 2011, in New Zealand this year. It just started this past weekend and runs for another couple of weeks. Who are you cheering for?

Also, to make this relevant, the Semi Finals, Bronze Finals and Finals are being broadcast in 3D.

John...we face you on Oct 1st, a date I have booked off because of how epic that game will be. If for some reason Canada does not go on, All Blacks and Ireland are my 2nd choices....

edit: wrong date, keep thinking it's the second because of the time difference....

Make sure you check out these Sky adverts, they are priceless....

Love both of those, especially the second one. The second one is, according to several friends who are camera trainee's, basically what the camera trainee program is like....

Yep, Tonga 20-25 Canada.

As for the OP question......England. A shaky start as usual, but after previous shaky starts they've either won or reached the final.......

George, you're having a laugh.

My prediction: Australia to win. New Zealand to choke. England to continue playing the turgid, unambitious style they have done ever since Martin Johnson took charge...

Agree totally, unfortunately ... England have about as much flare as a herd of buffalos .... as an ex rugby playing Brit living in LA I actually prefer to cheer for the US Rugby team .... at least they play with heart and passion and enthusiasm!

Was really looking forward to watching the games in 3D but apparently the company that was going to broadcast the 3D telecast, pulled the plug.

Go Team USA .... someone please beat the crap out of the Wallabies and Kiwis!

Neil

The games are terrific but alias due to some reason there will be no 3d footage shot . perhaps the begining of the end for 3d sporting event footage.

My hat off to the Irish team who did beat Australia.
I've to say I'm craping my pants thinking about the match of next saturday (new zeland-France).
Just hope the French flair will be back for that special game.
Best
Brice

I think we will knock the Frenchies off, but it promises to be one hell of a game!
Hé hé, carefull with what you are saying John, over confidence could give you bad luck.
Don't forget what already happend during other world cups between France and New Zeland.
Even if the blue team doesn't have the victory spirit in their gen, the French can be unpredictable,
especially when they play the best rugby team in the world.
The rooster is the type of animal who can sing with his foots in the shit. :-)
