All footage shot with the RPZ 18-50mm. Wide open T2.8 whenever possible. Using a combo of 320 ISO and 800 ISO.
First light grade in RCX. Edit in Premiere Pro. Output (some 2k format for web deliverable)

So I put the RPZ through it's paces over the last few days and put together a short film dedicated to my fellow REDUSERS. I don't care much for test charts, I can't tell what looks good and bad for the most part. I like to see how a lens works in my hands, and how it looks on screen. I've felt the RPZ was too slow in the past. I have noisy 5kWS footage, 2k 300fps footage with compression artifacts etc... So I thought I'd give it another shot.

All day time shots are using natural, October light, most after sunset. The night time work in the office was using the two 60 watt lamps already there. Two computer screens add light as well. Nothing added.

I've been on the war path to acquire a set of Zeiss Super Speeds MK 2s or 3s because of their speed. I'd like to do a similar film with them and compare the two.

Short film to follow. Finish principal photography tonight, editing and upload to follow.

Paul, you are funny. I haven't finished my post yet. :)

For the record, I rented one to film the feature doc about Erik Williams of the Dynasty Cowboys... It's an exceptional short zoom.
