After reading the RPP rental rates thread I thought it would be a good idea to start a poll to get a better understanding of what to expect. If we get enough participants we may even be able to tell where we are in the queue and estimate when to expect delivery.

$1-$300/day... Wheeee...

Why are people so anxious to low-ball their RPP rental rates? I don't get it. IMO, the RPP's will need a supplementary lens on the wide end and I will fill that void with the Duclos PL mounted Tokina 11-16 for now. 6 lens set for $400/day. Once the 18mm RPP is available, that will be an option too, but still 6 lenses for $400/day. Any less than that and I may as well just not rent them. I'll discount to $350 or so per day if rented with the camera, and no, the camera is not included in that $350/day price!!! You wouldn't believe what some people ask for. Sheesh...

I think it might have been more informative if you replaced a couple of those options with a better selection of price ranges. There is a rather big difference between renting for $1 or renting for $299.

Maybe breaking it out to five options rather than two?

<$100
$100 to $200
$200 to $300 (my guess is that this would be the mean)
$300 to $400
>$400

you're right. I should have at least worded it differently for the $1 - $300 option. Is anyone is actually going to rent them for less than $200. Some think $250 is even way too low. Also, who would want to pay more than $400 / day, even if it included an 18mm?

Anyway, I can't change it now. So, I lets just suppose I meant:

$200 to $300
$300 to $400
