Hi -
Here's a link to a project we just finished:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of4u5PMsD0Q
(you have to click the "watch in HD" link)
Any feedback greatly appreciated. This is our first major project using the RED. We did a lot of tests, but every day it seems like you get some new curveball. Our Red drive stopped being recognized by the camera half way through the shoot and we had to switch to cards. Overall though, way more fun (and easier!) than shooting film, or even P2 video.
Technical stuff:
- build 17
- 4k 2:1 Redcode 36 (max quality not checked)
- 23.98
- most of the audio was recorded directly to the RED
- two lenses, an Arri 12mm and the RED 18-50mm - no filters
- edited in Final Cut and timed in Color (from 2k Red codec intermediates)
- in these shots, i think we had one 4-bank kino, 2 1ks, and the west-facing windows.
Thanks,
Matt
