  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

As i continue to wait for my brain I'm wondering if the ronin m I've been using will be enough to handle the raven with a jetpack, zeiss cp.2 and schneider 4.5" filter? i tested it all on a 6d for reference and the lens definitely shows how important "perfect" mechanical balance is on the ronin m. I have yet to try the ronin mx and wonder if it will handle the weight better because i really don't want to switch to a big ronin.

Sean, I haven't gotten a chance to play with an MX, but that's basically the reason the MX is coming out really. The M was on the edge, and the MX is slated to be "50% stronger" and has a little higher payload. It also incorporates a dedicated battery. I was going to push it and go with the M until I heard about the MX.
