I dropped into Ronford Baker the other day and they showed me their moose bars. The build quality, as one would expect is excellent. They also told me that if customers need different lengths of handles or bespoke things made up they can likely accommodate.

The handles can be used on 19mm and 15mm(60mm) rods and felt rock solid to me. Best of all they're well priced compared to other handles on the market, coming in at £215 (Around $400). Cheaper than zacuto handles, tangohead's blue handles, or two single handles from Red.

As a side note the cushion grips should be easily swappable with other grips out there such as Bicycle handle grips etc. Plus the handles should look very at home on a handheld red setup.

I Brought a set 18 months ago and love them. Light, flexible and rock steady.

Dear CrewPix
The central screw, is the "safety" to prevent the loss of the bars locking lever.

Jeff LAWRENCE Ronford-Baker.

Dear Evin
The Moose Bars clamp onto 15 or 19 m/m bars. There "Cotton Reel" extensions to widen the handle grip.

Jeff Lawrence

Also, the screw in the center has a lever beneath it (You can't see in the pics), the same as on the sides of the handle, for tightening by hand, so yes it is tool-less.

Jeff I think Evin is referring to Studio 15mm (15mm Radius with 100mm offset) rather than lightweight 15mm (15mm Radius with 60mm offset). This would require machining two new middle pieces.

Yes. That would make it useful to people in most North American markets.

When I saw the pictures, I thought all 4 rods shown were 15mm with the ability to use 100mm or 60mm spacing. If you're machining an all-15mm piece anyway, this configuration wold make it very versatile!

Wow those pics look great!

They suck..used them...the silver bit that holds them from rotating under extreme pressure will give way...stick with the PIG, buy Red
