Rode smartLav+ for iPhone - Epic/Scarlet compatible?

I saw this advertised in the upper right of Reduser.

Looks nice and I have other Rode mics I like. I THINK the plug is compatible for recording stereo audio on the audio in ports on Epic/Scarlet.

Anyone have any experience with this one?

Thoughts?

Thought it also might make a nice mic out on the end of 15mm to get it away from fan noise for at least scratch audio?

Each of the jacks on the Epic/Scarlet are mono, not stereo.

then theoretically a stereo to mono cable which would go into the two jacks up front?

Thanks for the answer. I thought that, but I thought there was a weird connector inside.

For some reason my Rode NTG-3 mic never seems to work via Wooden Camera XLR adaptor.
