Hi!

I am having trouble with my camera build 3.2.5 . I get a error called ROCKETIO_FAULT. Any idea on how to prevent this error from occuring?

Andrew

We tried both. and the same thing happened. I have now restored the factory settings black shading, and now it seems to work fine. i have been powering it up and down for the last hour and it hasnt had the error.

After restoring the black shading to factory configuration the rocketio_fault and garbled image on the viewfinder seemed to stop. then after a day or so, the problem happened again! could this be a software issue? or could it be a physical fault with hardware in the camera? anyone else have this problem with build 16?

I think this problem has been linked to the CF card module in the past. Rocket IO is the IO function of the FPGA's inside Red, so it may well indicate a hardware issue.

Best bet is to raise a support ticket and get Red on the isssue.

thanks! Shipping this bad boy to red on Monday! :)

rocketio fault....

rocketio fault....

hello..

we had this happen during playback on set yesterday.. The director wanted to playback a take, and the image seemed "magnified" and flickered before popping up the the "rocketio fault..

we had the Viewfactor wireless focus plugged in. The "cam" 4 pin lemo from the FF bluetooth reciever was connected to one of the "AUX" ports at the rear of the camera..

any word. ?

thanks
