I experienced the same ROCKETIO ERROR that others have reported. I noticed it only happens when the camera is cold, ie the first boot in the morning and/or when the temperature was less than 55 deg F. To fix the problem, we had to leave the camera running, take it inside near a heater for 10 minutes, then reboot. This sounds like a hardware problem to me.

In an earlier build of 16, I had ROCKETIO ERRORs on a set at normal temperatures.

The latest release of build 16 has been error free and I just got back from shooting in Wyoming with temps of 18 deg F. You might want to send your cam into Red to have them look at it and give it the 'once over'.

What build were you running? What camera settings?

yesterday on an exhibition in Beijing we also had the rocketio_error at some point. I can't remember the settings we had at the moment, but i remember that i changed some settings on the camera and then I didnt see the error again. Also i took out the CF card and the harddrive for a second and plugged it back in. Maybe this could be something that resolved the problem.
