Can and how will these work together? I saw the pics of MacBook pro with the rocket.

Anyone know?

Thanks

No IO worth using.

MacBook Pro have Express Cards Slot.

Thanks so much for this Michael. I was just getting really very excited about considering buying this latest offering from Apple and almost ready to bite at (2.8 I7 2x4 8GB = $2800!) when I checked up and read this. Considering that they put in a really nice monitor one would have hoped Apple would have considered the state of flux of the power users.

But again no! We are left with this very pricey Mac Pro offering 8 slots for 4 stick RAM and pricey external monitors... I could swear but...

Any other suggestions for superior configurations for the I Mac? Any work around suggestions? Is our Best Buy really just a MacBook Pro with externals?

If you have to buy now, buy the Mac Pro.

I know it's not cheap or mobile.

If you can wait, I think a laptop with 4 cores is coming soon.

Then it can be mobile and it will have an express slot.

For RAM I do not buy apple's RAM.

www.macmall.com usually have good cheaper RAM for less.

Michael
