a Star Wars concept teaser for a film we're shooting this spring.
Shot on the same locations used for the scenes in Tatooine in death valley, ca.
im not sure what camera we're using for the film, but this teaser was shot on a Red Epic with Zeiss contax. Camera provided by Felipe Costa.
conformed and initial grading in Resolve.
composited on After effects, Nuke and 3D Max.
we're going for that original star wars look.
for the actual film, we are going to be using miniatures as well.
I stunt doubled and worked on the composting myself with a couple talented VFX artist (Florian Sanchez and David Ratajczak) out of France.
the teaser and film will be directed by Richard Lowry (Dominion)
and our DP will be Bruce Logan (Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, 2001 Space Oddysey, TRON)
enjoy the teaser, and feedback of our work is welcomed!
