Fellow Red User and Epic owner Kristian Anderson passed away yesterday after a long fight with cancer, age 36.

Kristian will be missed.

I shot this for him about 18 months ago on my trusty Red One for his wife Rachel's birthday. It went viral around the world and Kristian was on Oprah when she came to Australia.

Some of the funds were used to buy Kristian's Epic, which was a longtime dream of his. It will continue to make money for his family in longterm rentals.

So Red played a major part in Kristian's life the last few years in a few ways.

RIP Kristian!

I wanted to start this thread as well. Thank you, Jim, for starting the thread.

I was so fortunate to work with Kristian in September.

Kristian was the first to rent my EPIC, and shared a momentus occasion in my life...the unboxing of my EPIC. Gear is now what life is about. It's by far most inportant, the people in your life.

Kristian you will be dearly missed here on earth...and I can't wait to see you again, as we both share in the hope that the Resurrection has brought us...

Heartfelt condolences, too young an age to pass away. He looked like such a good guy. Beautiful piece Jim.

Kristian sounded like a wonderful person. It breaks my heart to hear of those who lose their lives so early and have a huge impact on those surrounding them. That speaks volumes to the type of person Kristian was.
My condolences to Kristian's family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Goodbye bro.
My prayers to your wife, amazing kids (be proud, guys), parents and friends.

Thanks for sharing Jim.

Never met Kristian, never spoke with him. But we share a common passion - RED.

My thoughts are with your family and friends.

Rest in peace brother.
