Rig question - Positioning the monitor & other

Hey!

I'm currently building a rig for the epic I'll be getting next week and I got a question about positioning my monitor.

I want to extend it to the left side, something like this http://www.michaelhalper.me/Pics/Epic04.jpg but not quite. I can't find any other good examples for what I'm looking for either.

Could any of you recommend any good alternatives? Am I overlooking anything else?
