I know and have tried both the Revolva and the Metabones on the Komodo. Despite my deep dislike for Metabones adapters because of my history with the Canon to Sony A7 transition, I did end up purchasing and fully enjoying the Metabones on Komodo. Great adapter for the money! Today I see that there are significantly more adapters available. I was just offered a DZOFilm Octopus Demo... Does anybody have any experience with the DZO or their other products??

I have DZO. Its well build, stainless parts, good machining, strange luster black finish... it has black velvet lining inside like MB. over all i like it. what i dont like about it: PL prot cap that feels ultra cheap and tacky Graphics. I dont know if this DZO is compatible with any cages or mount supports

I take deliver of the Tilta RF to PL today and will post what my thoughts are maybe tonight. I have to say that I tried a super jeanky setup of a PL to Eos ring on the back of one of my PL lenses and then on to the RED RF to Eos mounts and felt like it was about to pull everything apart. But then again that was about as crap setup as I could make so basically 3 parts a PL lens a PL to Eos Adapter and then on to the RF to Eos mount on the camera.
I know this was really testing the limits of all parts but wanted to se worst case situation.
Ill post tonight with the Tilta PL mount.

Heres the Tilta RF PL mount I received today. Seems pretty solid and Im planning on keeping it as its as solid as any other one PL adaptor Ive had in the past years. And I like the 2 thumb levers to let you know where the mount is and to really make sure its tight if needed.
I gave it a few light pushes and pulls on the end of the lens to make sure it would not wiggle under minimal effort and it held pretty good with no lens support attached.
Never mind the not correct rails setup Im still waiting to get some parts to get the proper lens height. Any suggestions welcome..

The one thing Im not sure on is if this mount can be shimmed if needed for some lenses that might not focus on infinity or the focus scale is off.

. Just now need to get the little support that will 1/4 20 on to the front of the lens and the bottom of the PL mount.
The flocking or internal black paint is or seems like its not as dark as I have seen on other adaptors but maybe its designed to work with this type of mount.
At any rate it seems pretty solid and easy to put on the camera so it ticks the boxes I need and wasn't that expensive.
I did buy it direct from Tilta though.

We have a Wooden Camera RF-PL Mount Pro, Sku 288699, 240 grams. $549 - a bit more than the others. None of our regular retailers had them in stock.
I called Wooden Camera directly and they said they are behind on many items because parts were coming in slow. I finally found one at AbelCine in LA.

We decided on this one for the Komodo because it was half the weight as another we were going to get, using it on a RS2 Gimbal so weight is an issue.
It has worked out really well, so we got another one for the Raptor.

If you need one now, I would look at the breakthrough brand. I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks great and I’ve heard nothing but good things about that one. Not much talk about it, but I’m personally gonna be waiting to see what the new Red eND adapter looks like whenever that one becomes available. Fortunately I don’t have to rush on that decision, it will probably be a while before it’s out.

i was gonna buy their Sony E Mount to PL adapter thanks for the feedback.Just don't wanna pay $500 for a PL converter so i ll go with DZO on this.

I finally found the time to pull my Raptor out of the box this weekend. Gathered unused Komodo accessories like a GDU monitor mount, GDU batts, a SmallHD monitor and slapped my Canon RF 16-35mm on it. Went straight to the 120fps and even the max fps at 2k and am very (VERY) pleasantly surprised!! In fact, my exact words were F%#K ME! While to this day I don't know how to turn on autofocus on any camera, I did manage to activate it on the Raptor/RF. SUPER F%#K ME (like the new lil Nas X video!!!! . Next up is the DZO PL mount and my Sumire's... will confirm in the next couple of days.

BTW- thanks to my long time Reduser community for all info.

Cheers,
Prio
