Shootout

I was comissioned a while ago to do a shootout of the three Frazier, Revo and T-rex
You can download resolution results and comments off my web site http://optitek.org/lens_services.php
There is a red link in the middle of the page.
I hope it helps..

The T-rex has never made sense to me. It has a zoom function, but you are zooming in on its internal groundglass, which causes noticeable changes to the image (and a stop change, if I recall).

The revolution works well on the Red but is big and pricey.

A lot of my shoots have been using the Skaterscope from PS Teknik. You have almost as many adjustment axis as the Revolution in a smaller, cheaper package. It feels much sharper to me than either the Trex or the Revolution, but I have not tested that.

Brandon,
I've used the Cinemagic Revolution on my Reds quite a bit and they work great!
It wonderful to shoot with these and see a beautiful bright image on the monitor...I remember using these relay lenses on 35-3s and 435s stopped way down wnd they were hell to operate and view. Personal preference for me is the Revolution over the T-Rex.

I agree with Brent that the Skater scope is the pick of the litter, but you were not asking about that. Since that's what I usually use, It's been a while since I tried the others.
