resolve +red noise?

usually i just transcode PR4444 redlogfilm, and then grade with those..
I just tried skipping that step and going off the r3d, however in resolve they are super noisy... the actual shots are not noisy.. clean in redcine.. my 4444 files from redcine are clean.. but in resolve they are noisy.. anyone else seen this?

Could be that resolve is automatically going to 1/4 resolution or something with the .r3ds, whereas the 4x4s are full-debayered 1080p.

… What are the renders out of Resolve (from the .r3ds) looking like? Clean?

might have been speedlooks causing it..
