Hey All,

I am using Workflow #2 and will go to Color (Update to 1.5 soon). I have resized and zoomed into on clip and was wondering how people have dealt with resizing clips in final cut pro. If I end up in 2k, can I reference a 4k clip so that artifacts won't show? Don't know if that makes sense - just curious if anyone has dealt with that before.

Hey Brandon,
Can you tell me how. Sorry - I guess won't I don't quite get yet is when I'm working native in FCP and then send to Color, where do I do the reference. What resolution are the natives set to - are they 4k or 2k? I shot in 4k but the native clips I captured are in 2k. Mmmhh - any help would be great.

hmm, I can't be positive, but I know that when working with the proxies, I'll edit using the 1k clips, and if I need to zoom in, I'll just reconnect the media from the 1k proxie to the 2k or 4k proxie, which will of course be much larger than the 1k window I'm workin on and can be scaled to just about any size I want and still be crisp.

Now how this works with color I can't be sure as I haven't tried.
