Does anyone know how GPU enhancements are handled on the Mac? I see that many cards have features like noise & artifact reduction, edge enhancement and video deblocking. These enhancements are listed below:
1. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/HQV/HQV_2.0/7.html
2. http://hothardware.com/News/New-AMD-Catalyst-106-Drivers-Improve-Video-Playback-Gaming-Performance/
I want to know if those GPU enhancements are turned off on the Mac or if we can control them. I have no idea how to access those driver features on the Mac. Obviously if it's not disabled then there would be serious issues with using FCPX and a colorsynced rec709 computer display for proper monitoring.
