Rented a 4k camera... Totally jealous of every red owner.

Our sony camera crapped out last week.. Basically on the eve of a huge week of filming....
so...

After a failed last minute attempt to procure a red, my work begrudgingly allocated a few hundred dollars for me to rent a canon d1c for 3 days this week.

4k is amazing.

i know it's not a red.... But... It's 4 k...

i know it's 4:2:2... And 8 bit..

but... It's 4k.

i am jealous of every single red user/owner/operator.

Unless your outputting 4k though is it really a big deal? I'm assuming your not finishing 4k? Is 4k that amazing when it ends up 1920x1080? As long as you shoot right and don't need to reframe etc
I'd be more jealous of shooting on a camera with the DR of red or the frame rates..... Just my 2 cents... but i'm happy your happy
