  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RENTAL WANTED: EPIC, have $1000 for 3 days, don't need epic, own R1 but want to play!

Hey guys, if anyone is willing to rent an Epic for $1000 for 3 days let me know, I know it's a 'low' rate but I want to play...I have never shot with an Epic only my R1..

Let me know what can be worked out.

Ok I get it's low...how about we do an uneaven trade? Would anyone be willing to trade TIME on an Epic and the cash allowed for this shoot? I would be willing to rent you our Epic when we get it in exchange for part of the "payment" for yours for this shoot...??
 
I will not spread around your name if you can work with me on this...I know you don't want it known that you are willing to rent your Epic for so low.

Help a fellow shooter out :)
 
Obin, can you work out a deal with a local rental company to do a weekend rental where they charge you 1 day. Pick up on Friday, return on Monday. Or maybe there aren't any rental companies in your area with Epic? I would think this would be easier to work out, especially if you have a good relationship with rental house. Anyway, just trying to think of things that might help you out. If we were in your area and had our Epic, we'd help you out. :-)
 
Yea Steve, not many in the south. ;) some way cool cats are offering to help on here so we will see....fingers crossed, I just want to experience "Epic" in my hand .......have a BUNCH of 120fps 5k stuff I want to shoot or else it's 2k cropped 120fps :( :( I don't have the lenses to make that work out very well ..
 
FYI-Obin. We're in Raleigh and at #2250 or something like that. Hopefully we'll have our EPIC soon enough...this year. Will you guys have yours before us?

That's good to hear. Hopefully someone hooks you up. I know you'll make the best of those days you have it in your hands.
 
I am open to ideas on how we can get an Epic for a few days if nobody wants to rent for the amount I am offering what can you do?

Hey guys, Epic M fell out...can anyone help out with a rental?
 
Please advise ASAP if you can or think maybe you can, we had designed this project around the Epic(gyro's, small slider rigs, very low soft lighting etc) and now we will have to re design a TON of shots for the R1 due to size and non MX...let me know!
 
I know. just looking for a "favor" here....want to shoot epic if we can. thanks
