Hi everyone, I am having a problem and will try to be as brief as possible.

We rented our Red Epic Dragon a while ago to a person. They were late for reasons that I am not going to explain to you, but basically they kept paying the weekly rental fee and told us they were actually also interested in purchasing the camera.

Last week they stopped paying for the weekly rental, and we haven't heard from them anymore.

This is the second week we haven't heard from them, they had insurance through a company we suggested them, and plus yes, we have insurance on our own as well.

They signed a contract with us and what not to rent the camera, now my question is.

What if we don't hear from them anymore? What are the procedures in this case?

Thank you.

Two weeks with no contact? Don't leave it any longer!

Call them & leave a voice message, email them, text them that if they don't respond immediately it will be assumed stolen/fraudulently hired and reported to the police. If they are local and you have an address, go there in person.

If still no joy within 24hrs, report it to your insurance. I hope your insurance policy covers "fraudulent hire" because some insurance wiggles out of covering this as theft! They will probably advise you to actually report it to the police, get a police report reference number, and proceed as instructed from then on.

Piero, this is upsetting to hear....Did they rent other items like glass?

Man sorry to hear it. Fingers crossed it works out for you. I'd file a report and call insurance asap.
