what am i missing?

when i render 4k 2:1 footage on redrushes, i can set the software to render at half resolution (High) to QT DNxHD 185, and the render time decrease to about one minute of footage in 5 minutes render. i can do the same in Redcine.

assuming i'm finishing in HD, not at 2k or 4k, so i dont need full resulution render.

where can i set it on Metafuze? rendering 1 minute of 4k 2:1 took me 20 minutes...

where can i set the software to netwrok rendering?

Thanks

Pefromanceis one of the areas where we are working to get much faster. But if you scroll the main window to the right, you will see the R3D related fields where you can select RLX, black point, exposure as well as the debayer quality you want to use.

Thanks!

one more thing:

is there a simple way to run batch transcode on alot of clips (lets say, on a full RED HDD)?

i tried to use the XML bacth tool, but i got cofused with the CMD commands.

can i run batch transcode inside the Metafuze? or i must use the CMD for running a batch job?

That is the next version I keep referring to... audio, batch transcode, etc.

when do you think it will be availible?

Thanks For everyhing!!!

Don't know exactly since it depends on rengineering resources and all but we are shooting for weeks and not months.

As Tone says - yes there is a "new" one with v10.1.1. of DS as well as on www.avid.com/metafuze, but the one I am referring to in the previous post is the newer new one. ;)
