Relocating to London

What is the current situation there if I to work with my own unit (Epic Dragon, Ronin etc) either as DP/DIT or even one man show productions given that I do have an extensive portfolio and experience. What is happening with rates/demand there now?

It's not that simple. London in particular is very messed up.
The UK too somewhat.
There are no easy answers.

That and where are you going to live?
You could bring a tent with you for the summer I guess.

My wife is from UK, the whole family is there, its not an issue of where or how to live. I got few offers, might end up going 50/50 between UK/Cyprus

It's the same issue I believe worldwide. It's not enough to have a good portfolio and reel.
Relationsips with established production companies/producers/peers is the most important part. And that can take time. But you have to work on it.
Expect a time of lows before the work starts coming in.
